General QA Engineer

We are looking for a motivated QA Engineer to join our team and help ensure the quality and reliability of our marketing automation platform. You will be responsible for designing and executing manual, functional, and automated tests, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with developers and product managers throughout the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain test plans, test cases, and testing documentation for new and existing product features;

  • Perform manual, functional, regression, and automated testing;

  • Identify, analyze, document, and track software defects through resolution in collaboration with developers;

  • Develop and maintain automated tests for repetitive testing tasks to improve testing efficiency and coverage;

  • Analyze test results and prepare quality reports;

  • Monitor all stages of the software development lifecycle to identify risks and maintain high product quality standards;

  • Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand business requirements and technical specifications;

  • Participate in continuous improvement of QA processes and testing practices.

Requirements:

  • Understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes;

  • Good understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC);

  • Experience with testing tools and QA automation frameworks;

  • Basic knowledge of databases and SQL;

  • Basic knowledge of HTML, JavaScript/TypeScript, and OOP principles;

  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation in English;

  • At least 1 year of experience in software quality assurance;

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;

  • Good communication and teamwork abilities;

  • Self-motivated, responsible, and disciplined approach to work;

  • Willingness to learn and continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.

Nice to Have:

  • Experience with API testing tools;

  • Knowledge of CI/CD processes;

  • Experience with bug-tracking systems and test management tools;

  • Programming experience: at least one of TypeScript / JS / Go;

  • Test frameworks: at least one of Selenium / Playwright / Cypress;

  • Other: Postman,  GitLab CI/CD, Browser DevTools, Docker, Linux;

  • Understanding of HTTP/HTTPS protocols and REST API architecture;

  • Working with webhooks, domains, DNS records, and network debugging tools.
