This article describes the Analytics of the Default Contact List, a section designed to help study and analyze its key constituents and data patterns.

Things to know before starting

  • Contact List Analytics is exclusively available for the Default Contact List.
  • Aggregation represents the total summary of counters captured at a specific point in time.
  • Analytics aggregations occur automatically every 60 seconds.
  • Monthly aggregations provide a comprehensive summary of counter results for the entire month.

Step-by-step instructions

  • Select the appropriate domain from the drop-down menu in the lower-left corner if multiple domains are active.

  • Navigate to the "Audience" section.

  • Click the "Lists" button.

  • Press the “Analytics” button.

  • Analytics metrics
    Icon caret
    • General information - displays details of the Default Contact List, including its name, report download date, tags, total contact count, and active contacts.
    • Statistics export - allows downloading data in Excel or PDF formats based on the selected channel and period in the Subscription Dynamics section.
    • Channel subscriptions - shows percentage-based and quantitative summaries of user subscriptions across all available channels.
    • Channel subscribers - the count of contacts subscribed to specific channels: Email, SMS, WebPush (Desktop/Mobile), Telegram, and Viber.
    • Channel subscribers - the count of contacts who opted out of specific channels, including Email, SMS, WebPush, Telegram, and Viber.
    • WebPush declined - the number of contacts who declined permission for Web Push notifications on Desktop or Mobile.
    • Black list - the total number of contacts placed on the blacklist for Email, SMS, or Viber.
    • Subscription dynamics - a visual representation of subscription and unsubscription trends over periods of 7 days to 12 months.
    • Dynamics filters - functionality to toggle the view of "Subscribed" or "Unsubscribed" indicators by clicking the corresponding field.
    • Age segmentation - a demographic breakdown showing contact age brackets: <18, 18-24, 25-40, 41-55, 56+, and Unknown.
    • Gender - a demographic chart displaying the gender distribution of contacts: Male, Female, Not applicable, or Not defined.
    • Top languages - a display of up to 5 most frequently used languages within the audience, with hover-over tooltips for detailed statistics.
