Mailchimp integration
This article explains how to integrate Mailchimp with Wooxy and synchronize contacts between the two systems.
Things to know before starting
- The integration is performed without requiring custom coding.
- Data synchronization is strictly unidirectional, supporting only Mailchimp-to-Wooxy contact imports.
- The connection links the Mailchimp account exclusively to the Default Contact List in Wooxy.
- A valid Mailchimp API key is mandatory to establish the connection.
- Variable naming conventions may vary between Mailchimp and Wooxy; manual mapping may be required.
- Synchronization is limited to one execution per 24-hour period.
Step-by-step instructions
Log in to the Mailchimp account.
Click the avatar in the bottom-left corner and select the “Profile” section.
Navigate to the “Extras” menu and choose the “API keys” option.
Generate a new access key by clicking the “Create A Key” button if no active keys are available.
Copy the generated API access key from the list below.
Navigate to the “Apps & Add-ons” page on Wooxy.
Press the “Mailchimp” button.
Insert the Mailchimp API key and click “Next” to proceed.
Select the target list and domain for the contact import.
Click the “Next” button.
Map contact variables from the list or create new ones if suitable matches are not found.
Click the “Finish” button to complete the integration.
Export template
Step-by-step instructions
Log in to the Mailchimp account.
Click the avatar in the bottom-left corner and select the “Profile” section.
Navigate to the “Settings” menu and choose the “Manage my data” option.
Check the box next to “Templates”.
Click the “Export Data” button to initiate the file generation.
Upload the exported templates into the corresponding section on the Wooxy platform.
