Two-factor authentication
This article explains how to set up, use, and remove two-factor authentication.
Things to know before starting
- Access to the Wooxy account requires a code generated within the Google Authenticator app on a mobile device.
- A set of 10 downloadable recovery codes is provided to serve as emergency keys when the primary device is inaccessible.
- Each recovery code is valid for a single two-factor authentication attempt and cannot be reused.
- These backup codes are essential for gaining account access in scenarios such as a lost device or a depleted battery.
- Codes should be downloaded as a text file or printed via the “Download Recovery Codes” link on the platform and stored in a secure location.
- The confidentiality of these codes is vital for maintaining account security and preventing unauthorized access.
