Viber blacklist
This article describes how to find, use, and manage the Viber contact blacklist.
Step-by-step instructions
Navigate to the “Settings” page.
Press the "Suppression list" button.
Choose the “Viber” tab.

Blacklist parameters
- Reject type - the reason for blacklisting: Invalid (blocked user, non-existent user, or incorrect number) or Spam (content flagged by filters).
- Identifier - the recipient's phone number and the timestamp of the block, adjusted to the account’s time zone.
- Raw log - technical data explaining the block: "Viber user blocked" (sender was manually blocked by the user), "No such Viber user" (unregistered or deactivated number), "Invalid phone number" (wrong format), or "Message rejected as spam" (flagged by Viber's automated filters).
Blacklist management

Things to know before starting
- Supported file formats include .CSV and .XLS.
- The maximum file size is 25 MB; large files may require additional processing time.
- Sample .CSV and XLS files are available as templates for data entry.
- If a file contains only phone numbers, the "invalid" reject type is assigned automatically.
- Phone numbers already present in the Blacklist are ignored and not updated.
- Detected file errors can be fixed for re-upload or ignored to continue the import.
- There is no limit on the number of contacts that can be stored in the Viber Blacklist.
Manually
Step-by-step instructions
Navigate to the “Settings” page.
Press the "Suppression list" button.
Choose the “Viber” tab.
Click the “Add” button.
Select the “Viber contacts” option.
Enter phone number (one per line).
Optional: Add a reject reason (invalid or spam) and a raw log on the same line, separated by commas.
Data must follow a strict format: phone number, reject type, raw log.
Click the “Continue Import” button to proceed.
Import
Step-by-step instructions
Navigate to the “Settings” page.
Press the "Suppression list" button.
Choose the “Viber” tab.
Click the “Add” button.
Select the “Viber contacts” option.
Select the “Add contacts from a file” option.
File upload via drag-and-drop or by clicking the import area.
Advancement to the next step by pressing the “Continue Import” button.
Verification of data via the “Match headers” feature, where file columns (File column name) and their samples (Preview) are aligned with system fields (Wooxy headers: email, rawLog, rejectType); unmatched headers are ignored.
Finalization of the process by clicking the “Import” button.
Handling of invalid fields via a pop-up window with options to “Skip and continue” or cancel the import.
Remove
Step-by-step instructions
Navigate to the “Settings” page.
Press the "Suppression list" button.
Choose the “Viber” tab.
Use the search form to locate specific phone numbers.
Bulk removal by selecting contact checkboxes (up to 50 per page) and clicking the “Delete” button at the top.
Individual removal by clicking the “Bin” icon on the right side of the corresponding row.
