Email validation
This article describes how to use the Email Validator to verify individual email addresses or to check contact lists. Information on email validation via the Wooxy API is also available in detail here.
Things to know before starting
- Each email validation costs 1 credit, regardless of the method used.
- Log data and bulk validation results are stored for 45 days.
- If the system is unable to validate an email for any reason, no credit is deducted. Important! This refers specifically to cases where it is technically impossible to verify the email's validity, rather than the email itself being invalid. Such emails will be assigned a "Risky" status, which may be relevant for the Email Validation API method.
- The number of available credits is checked before starting the validation process. If there are insufficient credits to verify all contacts, the process will not begin.
- For manual verification, up to 50 emails can be entered into the input field at once.
- The file format for validation must be .csv or .xls, and the file size must not exceed 25MB.
- To export validation results, create a task on the validation page. Once the file is generated, download it from the "Import/Export" section in Settings.
- Credits can either be included in the account plan or purchased separately as an add-on.
- Payment for additional emails occurs upon the plan's expiration at the end of the month.
- Increasing the number of emails in an add-on results in an additional charge. Decreasing the amount on a monthly plan, the emails remain available until the end of the current month, and the new rate will apply starting from the next month. For annual plans, the difference will be refunded to the account balance.
- Important! Each plan includes a specific number of validations. Any validation credits purchased as add-ons increase this monthly limit. The total limit is fixed for the current month, and any unused credits do not carry over to the next month.
