This article explains how to order a dedicated IP address on Wooxy. Dedicated IP addresses help isolate a domain's reputation from other system users. Certain configurations also enable reputation isolation between individual domains within a single account, facilitating the establishment of independent, stable sender profiles for each domain. Things to know before starting
- The cost of a dedicated IP address is subject to project risk assessment and is displayed at the time of purchase.
- Domains must be added to the platform prior to ordering a dedicated IP address.
- Successful dedicated IP configuration requires domain verification via DNS records.
- For orders placed during the trial period, charges are applied upon account approval.
- During the ordering process, the IP can be configured either for the entire account or for a specific domain.
- The dedicated IP setup involves a two-stage process.
- Additional specific DNS records are required to finalize the dedicated IP configuration.
Step 1 - Order
Step-by-step instructions
Navigate to the “Apps & Add-ons” page.
Press the “Dedicated IP addresses” button.
Click the "Add IP address" button, select the target domain(s), specify the number of IP addresses, and choose the configuration type. Then, click "Buy Addon."
Upon clicking "Buy Addon," an automated notification is sent to the technical team to initiate the IP selection process. Finalization of this configuration requires a waiting period.
Important! The setup status is tracked in the same section where the order was placed. Once the technical configuration is complete, the dedicated IP address will appear in the menu with a "Verify IP" button. Clicking this button reveals the required DNS settings.
Step 2 - Verifying
Step-by-step instructions
Clicking the "Verify IP" button redirects to the page containing the DNS records required to continue the dedicated IP setup.
Copy the provided records and add them to the domain's DNS settings. Once complete, click the "Verify" button.
After clicking "Verify," a notification is sent to the technical team to complete the dedicated IP configuration.
Important! Setup progress can be monitored in the same section where the order was placed. This area also provides an overview of all other IP addresses and their current statuses.
