Profiles

This article describes where to find, how to use, and how to manage a contact profile.

Things to know before starting

  • Profiles are available only for contacts in the Default Contact List.
  • Certain information, such as the date and method used to add or update a contact, cannot be modified.
  • The system allows for changing subscription statuses, viewing segment membership, sending personal messages, and other actions.

Step-by-step instructions

  • Select the appropriate domain from the drop-down menu in the lower-left corner if multiple domains are active.

  • Navigate to the "Audience" section.

  • Click the "Profiles" button.

  • Locate specific contact profiles using the search tool with unique identifiers such as userId, email, or phoneNumber.

  • Resend previous messages or access detailed event data via the "Info" button in the feed.

  • Exporting the contact's activity feed as a downloadable file via the Activity Log provides a complete history, while the platform display is limited to the last 30 days.

  • Searching and editing available contact variables to maintain accurate data for dynamic content.

  • View all segments a contact currently belongs to based on automated filtering conditions.

  • Manage up to five internal notes per contact, including content, creator name, and timestamp.

  • Permanent removal of notes with no recovery option.
