Payments via Shopify
If your account was created through Shopify, all payments, including adding funds to your balance, are processed directly through Shopify's payment system. Funds are withdrawn from the linked payment method, and all payment management tasks—such as updating billing details or changing payment methods—are handled within your Shopify settings.
Things to know before you start:
✔️ Payments for services are made exclusively from your Wooxy account balance. This means you must have a sufficient balance in your Wooxy account to complete transactions successfully.
✔️ Adding funds to your balance can be initiated in the Wooxy interface but requires confirmation in Shopify.
✔️ Payment method management is only available in Shopify settings.
✔️ Ensure you have sufficient funds for automatic payments. If your balance is too low, automatic charges for Wooxy services may not be processed, which can lead to service disruptions.
How to add funds to your balance?
Step-by-Step Instructions:
Go to the Billing Dashboard ( Menu → Billing)
Locate the Current Balance section and click “Add Funds”.
Choose the Amount to Add:
- Select a predefined amount from the available options.
- Alternatively, enter a custom amount in the "Amount" field.
Click “Recharge”, and you will be redirected to Shopify.
Complete the transaction in Shopify’s payment interface by confirming the payment.
Once confirmed in Shopify, the added amount will be reflected in your Wooxy balance.
Important: Make sure a valid payment method is linked in your Shopify account; otherwise, the transaction may fail, and the funds will not be credited.
Where to view your payment history?
Detailed information on transactions and balance recharges is available in:
- Your Shopify Account: Log in to Shopify and navigate to your billing section to view payment history, invoices, and subscription details.
- Your Wooxy Account: Open Menu → Billing → Transaction Log to see a detailed list of transactions, including deposits and service charges.
What to do after removing the Shopify integration?
If you remove Shopify from your Wooxy account:
- All payments will be temporarily suspended.
- You need to contact support to switch your account to the Wooxy platform payment method
- Once support confirms the change, you will be able to add a payment method.
After reconnecting Shopify, payments will once again be processed through it.
