Payments via Shopify

This article covers payment processing for accounts created via Shopify. All transactions, including balance top-ups, are handled through the Shopify payment system. Funds are debited from the linked payment method, while billing updates and payment management are handled in Shopify settings.

Things to know before starting

  • Payments for services are processed exclusively from the Wooxy account balance, so sufficient funds are required for successful transactions.
  • Balance top-ups are initiated within the Wooxy interface and must be confirmed via Shopify.
  • Payment method management is handled solely within Shopify settings.
  • Maintaining an adequate balance is necessary for automatic payments; insufficient funds may result in failed charges and service disruptions.

Add funds to the balance

Step-by-step instructions

  • Navigate to the "Settings" page or the profile menu in the upper-right corner.

  • Click the "Billing" button.

  • Find the "Current balance" block and click the "Add funds" button.

  • Select a predefined recharge value in the "Amount" field or enter a custom amount.

  • Clicking "Recharge" redirects to Shopify.

  • Transactions are completed by confirming the payment within the Shopify payment interface.

  • Upon Shopify confirmation, the added amount is automatically reflected in the Wooxy balance.

Important! A valid payment method must be linked to the Shopify account to prevent transaction failures and ensure funds are successfully credited. In the absence of a valid payment method, transactions may be declined, preventing the balance from updating.

  • Shopify Account: the billing section within Shopify provides access to payment history, invoices, and subscription details.
  • Wooxy Account: the Transaction Log lists all transactions, including deposits and service charges.

Removing the Shopify integration

In the event of Shopify removal from the Wooxy account:

  • All payments are temporarily suspended.
  • Contacting support is required to migrate the account to the Wooxy platform payment method.
  • Upon support confirmation, the option to add a new payment method becomes available.
  • If Shopify is reconnected, payment processing will automatically revert to the Shopify system.
