WebPush templates

This article describes how to create, update, and manage webpush templates. Each webpush template includes a preview option to verify its appearance before dispatch. Detailed information about this feature is available here.

Things to know before starting

Important! Template creation and management are unavailable until a domain is added and verified within the account.
Access to template management depends on the assigned user role, as permissions vary by role.
Web Push titles are limited to 64 characters, and body content is limited to 240 characters due to browser constraints.
Icon images should ideally be 128×128 pixels in PNG, JPEG, or GIF format, with a maximum file size of 200 KB.
A maximum of 2 buttons can be added to a single template.
Personalization through variables and emojis is supported for titles, content, and all URLs.
Note! The Wooxy domain in previews is automatically replaced by the contact's actual opt-in domain upon delivery.
Notification layouts will vary significantly depending on the recipient’s browser and operating system.

Step-by-step instructions

Navigate to the "Content" section.
Click the "Templates" button.
Click the "Create" button.
Select "WebPush" as the channel.
Enter the template name and specify the notification title.
Compose the message content, optionally including variables and emojis.
Provide a destination URL for the main notification click.
Upload a default icon image (e.g., your website logo).
Add optional elements such as a large image (Windows only) or up to two interactive buttons with custom URLs.
Click the "Save" button.

Prohibited materials
- Content accuracy - all images and text must be truthful and match the advertised material.
- Prohibited topics - campaigns must not contain political, religious, sexual, or erotic (pornographic) content.
- Shocking content - use of shocking images, intimidating tactics, or profanity is strictly forbidden.
- Violence & Harassment - materials promoting violence, harassment, or intimidation of individuals or groups are prohibited.
- Zero tolerance for discrimination - any content advocating hatred or disparagement based on race, nationality, religion, sex, or marital status is banned.
- Illegal substances - descriptions or propaganda regarding narcotic drugs and related topics are inadmissible.
- Weapons & Explosives - advertisements for ammunition, firearms, combat knives, or explosive materials are not allowed.
